Our suppliers are carefully chosen as part of our quest for eco-responsible and ethical production.
To make Le Droit à la Belle Vie jewelry , we make a rigorous selection of parts from our suppliers to guarantee you a piece of jewelry over time (charms, pendants, unassembled raw chains and finishes, raw rings for those that we do not make not us even from gold plated raw wire or 925 silver). When we cannot find our happiness with our suppliers, we ask them to make tailor-made pieces from our drawings or by welding several elements from their collections to reinterpret them in our own way .
Our metal suppliers are chosen in priority in France, in Europe (Spain, Italy, Germany, Ireland) then in South Asia for a small part (South Korea and China with part of the quality control laboratories installed in France). All our metals are guaranteed without nickel, cadmium and lead (main allergens for the skin) . Our workshop ensures compliance with the European REACH standard for metals in contact with the skin. Thus, all our metals are guaranteed free of nickel, cadmium and lead (main allergens for the skin) .
The fine and precious stones were chosen from our suppliers - lapidaries (cutting stones) in France and Germany . The rough stones they use come from all over the world (Latin America, Africa, Asia etc.), France and Europe now having poor soils in pretty stones. Our opals come from Ethiopia , the second country with Australia having the chance to have these unique stones with a rainbow reflection.
