Kumihimo bracelet with 16 threads and 2 colors (diamond pattern)

You will find in this tutorial a film allowing you to make a braided bracelet with the Japanese technique of kumihimo.
To make this bracelet you need :
of thread in 2 different colors (cotton, nylon, etc.)
2 end caps (with rings) to put the threads in before fitting the clasp
a clasp (e.g.: T-shaped, carabiner, magnetic, etc.)
2 small rings to mount the clasp
5 to 10 rings or a thick chain to add an extension if the bracelet is not long enough
jewelry glue
a kumihimo disc
a pair of scissors
a ruler
one or 2 pliers (to put the small rings)
Make a cardboard kumihimo disc
Difficulty: Easy Cost: Less than €5 (excluding cutter and file)
Duration: Less than 45 mm
You will find in this tutorial a film allowing you to make a cardboard disc to make a braiding with the Japanese technique of kumihimo. You can download a disc template .
To make this disc you need :
heavy card stock (at least 2mm thick)
a ballpoint pen (or stick the template you downloaded and cut to the right size of your cardboard disc)
with a pair of scissors
a precision cutter
a file (optional)
decoration paper (optional). You can also paint it.
The circle made in this tutorial is 11 cm in diameter (take a measurement of 5.5 cm for the spacing of your compass).
Use a knot tie
